Booze is legal for drivers.

Similar regulations re driving and operating machinery etc as booze and everyone's happy.

Re: These new drug driving laws ?
Everything should be legal? Taking substances that you know affect your judgement and make you feel very indifferent, should be legal for drivers? Come back when you've grown up or your family has been affected by a driver under the influence. If you want to sit and get wasted with mates or dance your tits off then fine, you can avoid getting caught or campaign to change the law. But if you drive when anything other than sober, you are a danger to others and should suffer the legal consequences. Believe it or not, we've been getting wasted one way or another for generations.

Oregon and Colorado should inform if one is interested, marijuana legal in both states.

They make loads of money from tax and the criminal element is removed, people will choose not to support the underclass if they were allowed.

Re: These new drug driving laws ?
Surely what happened after prohibition is a good pointer? I'd say the bottom pretty much fell out of the market for the criminals.

On the other point, just because some people have problems with drug-addiction why do others instantly think that any one who uses drugs is a junkie? Far, far more people get a lot of enjoyment out of them. I've had a great weekend.

It should be a personal choice.

Eggbert that is my main concern with legalising drugs.
Unless someone can show some valid evidence to the contrary.

Re: These new drug driving laws ?
so all the criminals will just leave their most lucrative source of income if it goes legal?

after all the Gov would tax it massively if legal (see alcohol and cigarettes) so chances are it would still be cheaper from the illegal route

Re: These new drug driving laws ?
I was merely responding to the gent who wondered why the youth have a different attitude to himself.

Everything should be legal and any consequences should be dealt with as a health issue.

If you're concerned about addiction then the cure isn't a cell but rather a psychologist, people who find themselves there aren't doing it to flout the law there is another issue involved.

The industry is only dirty and dangerous cos of the illegality.

Eggbert Nobacon 5:25 Mon May 4
Re: These new drug driving laws ?
what abouit the people that die due to the industry? will that all go away?

mashed in maryland 5:25 Mon May 4
Re: These new drug driving laws ?
he only people who benefit from illicit drugs being illegal are people involved in the illicit industry.

Why should we ban something just cos it's dangerous?

Eggbert Nobacon 5:10 Mon May 4
Re: These new drug driving laws ?
dapablo

So drugs are harmless and should just be allowed?

the things you learn

And before you say alcohol is alloweds, all that argument says is maybe they should ban that too, NOT lets allow everything

Peroni, he couldn't.

I'm afraid that Dapablo posting in anything other than a pompous and/or condescending manner is a bridge too far.

Our generation is fucked.

Your generation raised us.

If Britain is broken then it is entirely old people's fault.

Re: These new drug driving laws ?
Drugs freely available in a recently dumbed down degenerate society with its cascading depleted IQ of citizens does not seem to offer any hope of a positive yield in time.

I suppose it's just another thing for the queers to champion as Rome burns though I'd warn against anyone with a low IQ ever partaking in substance use.

There should be IQ tests for those wishing to make use of mind altering substances, which pretty much disqualifies the majority you hear all cheering for it.

The younger generation have been educated with a different life attitude, they are taught evaluate truth not repeat it rote, and they perceive the current drug laws as antiquated nonsense.
